What do you spend your time on?

In the bible God says we should remember the one who created us and that we should remember him while we are still young. Ecclesiastes 12:1.

He also says that we should place him first in our lives, nothing should become before God. It’s the first commandment from the 10 commandments God gave us. Exodus 20.

How much time do you spend with God per day?

In Ecclesiastes 12 it says: Remember the one who created you, it mentions this several times.Giving several examples on how we should remember him at all times in all situations. It also talks about consequences of not Remembering God.

The bible says we should Look carefully then how we walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore we should not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” – Ephesians 5:15-17

We should pray to God for guidance and wisdom. It says in Psalm 90:12- So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.”

When we want to build a house, we plan it. It takes months as we will probably look at and compare many houses. We go to the bank and spend hours there and we might even go to different banks to get the best deal. We then add some months to save some extra money. We also start to look if it would not be best to build our own house, we spend time on checking out models, we discuss options with our families and so on. We spend an amazing amount of time before purchasing a house, right? For something we can’t take with us and while the bible tells us that we should not spend our all on things that thieves can steal, the mot can damage and that which you can’t take with you. Matthews 6:19-21.God says we should set ourselves on things above and not things on the earth Colossians 3:2-3.

And the house project overall? God talks about that too: “For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?” – Luke 14:28,

You count the cost of a house, something you can’t take with you. However are you counting the cost of not spending time or not enough time with God?

The second command of the 10 commandments says: Love your neighbor as yourselves. So it means you have to love yourselve first in order for you to be able to love your neighbor, correct? But how then can people spend more time on a earthly house then on the house God gave them? You in person, you spending time with God is building your house together with God and nobody can take that away from you and It cannot be damaged.

There is nothing more important in life than to spend time with God. There is nobody on earth that understands you better then God. And ooh ones you start to get to know God by spending time with him, there is nothing on earth that compares to it. God is truly Amazing and wonderful and loves us so much.

What do you spend your time on? Facebook, Instagram, linked in, what’s app, Television, work, gossip and so on and on? Well read this: You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, Exodus Ch.20:5 –

Idols are anything that will take away our devotion to God.

An idol can also be when you focus to much on yourself your focus should be on God.

In short this is what the bible says:

New Bodies: For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies. While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.

So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him. For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.
We Are God’s Ambassadors: Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others. God knows we are sincere, and I hope you know this, too. Are we commending ourselves to you again? No, we are giving you a reason to be proud of us, so you can answer those who brag about having a spectacular ministry rather than having a sincere heart. If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God. And if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
So what will you!!! -spend your time on?

God loves you much❤️
